There two main kinds of freelance investigators in Australia. There are those who make poor witnesses in court, are ignorant of or simply ignore the law, who you could not send to interview your CEO, and who you really don't want yourself or your business associated with - and then there are those like us.
Our investigators are qualified, licensed professionals with a diverse range of backgrounds. We were Lawyers, Senior Managers, Finance Professionals, Executives, Human Resource Managers, Military Officers and other professionals before we became investigators. Our backgrounds literally range from Medical and Marketing to Maritime and Mapping. We have a large range of hi-tech equipment, and use everything from hidden cameras and long zoom lenses to night vision and miniature drone aircraft.
We will not act unlawfully at any time, and apart from that restraint, exactly what activities are undertaken, how long is spent doing them, and the method and frequency of reporting back to you are all at your discretion. For example, some clients prefer a single report at the end of the project, some prefer to follow events in almost real-time using our online reporting service, and there are several levels in between.

RECENT Investigations
In a recent case we sent one of our purpose-built surveillance drones on a GPS-guided journey to photograph a remote camp site in the South Australian desert.
Our drone took off, flew over 10km and then collected video and photographic evidence confirming the nature of the activities being conducted and identifying those participating. This was accomplished without the knowledge of those present, and all entirely within applicable local laws.
